Richard Vargo

Dr. Richard Vargo is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at A.T. Still University – Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health and at the St. Louis Dental Center in St. Louis, MO. He is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, where he has a clinical practice in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and a surgical oral pathology practice in the Department of Pathology. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and he serves on the expert panel of the Missouri Telehealth Network’s Oral Health ECHO. Dr. Vargo received his undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Virginia, received his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the ABOMP and a Fellow of both the AAOMP and the AAOM. Lastly, Dr. Vargo is currently pursuing an MBA degree with a specialization in healthcare administration.
