Dr. Nasser Said-Al-Naief

Dr. Said-Al-Naief is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at the Department of Integrated Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences at OHSU, School of Dentistry and School of Medicine and most recently served as a Professor & Chair, and as the director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Surgical Pathology laboratory in the Department of Pathology and Radiology at OHSU SOD & SOM. He had also served as a Professor of Oral Diagnosis, Radiology and Pathology @ LLU School of Dentistry & as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda U. School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy & Pathology, Head & Neck Pathology, as an Associate Professor & Director of OMF Pathology Lab/ Oral Medicine at the U. of Pacific, in San Francisco CA. He began his medical career with a DDS from Marquette U., in Milwaukee, WI, where he also served as faculty for few years, then completed two residencies in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology; the first at U. of Illinois at Chicago where he also obtained his M.S degree in Oral Biology at UIC graduate college & the second residency was in Long Island Jewish Medical Center / Albert Einstein Hospital. Dr. Said continued and completed an advanced fellowship in Head and Neck /ENT Pathology in Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY, also attended a 2-year externship in General Pathology/Dermatopathology at U. of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout his career, he remained active within the AAOMP including participating in the educational activities, serving on the Academy’s council, serving as a chair of the finance committee, and currently serving as chair of the RASC committee.
